The UCD Medicine Society’s annual ball returned to the Bridge House Hotel in Tullamore this year — and what a night it was! Hosted by Big Boss Events for the fourth year running, the 2025 ball brought together over 850 students for an unforgettable evening of celebration, entertainment, and style.

A Night of Glamour and Creativity✨

Themed “A Starry Night,” the venue sparkled with celestial-inspired décor, shimmering balloons, and elegant lighting that set the tone for a truly magical night. Guests enjoyed a photobooth with black-and-white printouts, perfect for capturing the memories.

Adding to the wow factor were aerial performers, stilt walkers, and a firebreather, all dressed in themed costumes that brought the event’s concept to life.

As tradition goes, the final-year Medicine students gathered for their group photo on the grand staircase — a moment that perfectly captured the pride and spirit of UCD MedSoc.

The evening continued with a delicious meal and live entertainment from Riff Shop Music, keeping the energy high throughout dinner.

No ball is complete without a touch of glamour! Guests cheered on their friends during the Oscar-style MedSoc Awards, recognizing everything from academic achievements to fun campus moments.

The celebrations carried on into the Bridge House nightclub, where students danced the night away, wrapping up another hugely successful Med Ball.
