Information for Parents/Guardians:
Information for Parents/Guardians/Principle’s: Our Big Boss Events team have been running, coordinating and organising student events such as debs, graduations, TY balls, pre debs and college balls for over 10 years and have vast experience in running and coordinating events for schools and colleges nationwide.
Our Roll: is to Organise, Coordinate, host and attend the event on the night. We organise everything from the buses to and from the debs venue, the entertainment on the night, security staff, the booking of the venue, liaising with the venues, the committee and or principle. We do not have any involvement in the Booking of hotel room, nor do we promote any students to stay in any hotels on the night. We provide the bus service for students to come back to their location. Big Boss Events will not be responsible for any students who do book hotel rooms within the venue on the night. Every ticket given to students it mentions that you cannot book rooms within the hotel where the event is being held, students will receive tickets before the event takes place.
Security team: We work with Tekken security a nationwide security providers who are licenced and registered with the PSA. They are very reliable and efficient in their duty of care to all students attending our events.
First Aid: For each of our events we provide at least 1 fully trained first aid assistant who works directly with our security and management team on the night. Depending on numbers attedning we may have both a first aid personal and paramedic on hand.
Alcohol policy: We are extremely strict on our alcohol policy at each event. At the beginning of the night each student will be asked to produce a valid form of government photo Identification. Students who are over and above 18 will have access to purchase alcohol within the venue. Any student who does not produce ID proving that they are over the age of 18 or any student who we deem under the age of 18 will not have access to alcohol on the premise. Too manage this we operate a color coded wristband system which we monitor throughout the night. If a student is in breach of this a parent or guardian maybe called at this point or further action may be taken to prevent any incidents with the student.
