On April 3rd, UCD Medicine Society brought the Secret Garden to life with its annual gala, transforming House Dublin into a lush, vibrant escape for the night 🌿✨

With 443 guests in attendance, the evening struck the perfect balance between elegance and pure fun, all seamlessly delivered by Big Boss Events.

Guests arrived to a buzzing atmosphere, stepping straight into the magic of the night. The digital photobooth was an instant hit 📸, with printouts giving everyone a keepsake to take home, while a talented caricaturist kept guests entertained with brilliant (and sometimes slightly too accurate) portraits 🎨.As the night got underway, guests mingled and made the most of the finger food on offer 🍴, catching up with friends and soaking in the garden-inspired setting.

Music played a huge part in the night, with Madra Rua kicking things off with an incredible live set 🎶 that had the crowd hooked from the start. A college DJ kept things flowing before Riff Shop took over and brought the dance floor to life, keeping everyone moving well into the night.

Meanwhile, the committee enjoyed a well-earned moment in their VIP area ✨, a chance to take it all in after months of planning behind the scenes.

To top it all off, the night ended with a confetti-filled finale 🎉, the perfect send-off to a night that didn’t disappoint.

From start to finish, UCD Med Gala 2026 was everything you’d want it to be – fun, lively, and a great chance to celebrate with friends. Safe to say, the Secret Garden delivered 🌸.
