  1. PDA’s

Let’s be realistic no one enjoys the distraction of two people sharing vivid public displays of affection throughout a film, so please do us a favour and keep this until ye leave the cinema.

  1. Latecomers

Did you ever miss a moment of a film in the cinema because a person came late, and not only did they come late but they struggled to find where their friends were sitting, so they insisted on interrupting the movie for everyone else until they found their friends? Frustrating isn’t it?

  1. Mobile Phone Users.

Leave your phone in your bag or pocket while in the cinema, I think you would survive for a couple of hours without checking social media. Don’t try hide the fact you’re on your phone, it’s pretty difficult to hide those big bright screens on smart phones.

  1. Keep feet to yourself

Don’t be rude. Keep your feet off other seats. No cinema goer likes to have knees protruding into their back or have a foot/feet resting on their shoulder.

  1. Chatterboxes

No one asked you to guess the ending or who the murderer might be. If you often struggle to keep up with the plot, don’t constantly ask your neighbour to explain what is happening. Just sit back in silence and let the characters in the movie do the talking.

  1. Noisy Food

Choose cinema snacks wisely, for example crisp packets – too much rustling. Don’t sneak fast food into the cinema, save the person sitting beside you from an uncomfortable situation of having to listen to you chew your dinner. Stick to the old classics – popcorn and fizzy drink.
